STEP 1
Download: GNS3
A). Download the file GNS3 V0.6.1 tgz file. From
http://www.gns3.net/download
This file is Ubuntu version 8.10
STEP 2
Download: Dynamips for Linux From
www.ipflow.utc.fr/blog/.
A). Get either the 32 or 64 bit version depending
on your computer system.
STEP 3
Download: Dependency Software:
A)Open up Synaptic Package Manager
B). Go under systems > administration > Synaptic Package Manager. Enter your administration password if prompted to
C). Search for python-qt4.
D). Right click on it. Click on Mark for installation.
E). Mark the additional packages too when prompted.
F). On the summary window click apply.
STEP 4
Installation: Part 1
A). Extract the GNS3 Folder and open it.
B). Drag the Dynamics file into the src folder of GNS 3
as shown below.
