With another first, the University of Houston became the first to deploy AT&T U-Verse Voice over IP in the Moody UH VOIPTowers Residence Hall. Following the installation of Advanced TV U-Verse in the Towers, the VoIP installation was successfully tested December 18. Full deployment of U-Verse, Advanced TV, high-speed Internet and VoIP is expected to occur in January 2009.
